Christopher Shade, Ph.D.
President and Founder of Quicksilver Scientific, LLC
Mr. Christopher Shade founded Quicksilver Scientific in Lafayett, Colorado in 2005. Quicksilver is a laboratory that specializes in mercury speciation analysis, a process that separates and measuers forms of mercury.
Dr. Shade earned his Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences and Resources Management from Lehigh University in 1993 and a Masters in Environmental Sciences from Lehigh in 1998. Dr. Shade earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005.
Dr. Shade developed the patented Liquid Chromatographic Mercury Speciation technology currently used at Quicksilver Scientific.
