Jenny Hrbacek is a registered nurse who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. Her treatment included a double mastectomy and chemotherapy. During her treatment, she noticed many people getting treated for reccurance of their own cancer. That's when she realized surgery and chemotherapy were not cures. From there, Jenny learned about different testing methods that could detect circulating tumor cells, which she had despite a 'clean' PET scan.
Jenny authored Cancer Free! Are You SURE? to help change the way the world detects cancer. She also travels and speaks about her experience and the tests that are available but not well known.
